Xbox Live Rewards program now available

Microsoft has been testing the Xbox Live Rewards program for about a year now, and it’s finally time for them to release it to the public. Available right now, you can head over to the Xbox Live Rewards website and sign up to start collecting your hard-earned rewards.

You’ll be able to reap Microsoft Points for renewing your subscription, making your first purchase on the Xbox Live Marketplace, purchasing “select” Marketplace content and even for the activation of Netflix.

Unfortunately, these rewards are not retroactive; if you’ve made your first Marketplace purchase already, or have already activated Netflix on your Xbox 360, you won’t be able to receive the 100 Microsoft Point bonus.
