Sega announced this morning that two more Dreamcast titles will be getting the HD re-release treatment, with Space Channel 5 Part 2 and Sega Bass Fishing headed to XBLA and PSN next year.
According to the information released by Sega, both titles will be remastered to pretty up for their new high-def homes on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 when they release next spring.
If you’ve only ever played Space Channel 5 on your Dreamcast, you likely missed out on Space Channel 5 Part 2. The update to the original was never actually released outside of Japan, although it was bundled with the PlayStation 2 port when it released in North America back in 2003.
Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to go weep in a corner over the loss of the Dreamcast. It never gets any easier..
