Ragequit.tv playing Starcraft II for 48 hours for charity

Ragequit.tv is doing what a lot of players are doing of their own accord: they’re playing StarCraft II for 48 hours straight to raise funds for the Child’s Play charity. Child’s Play is a charity near and dear to my heart, so it always makes me happy when gamers run events like this to raise money for the charity.

In case you’re not aware of what Child’s Play is, I’ll forgive you this one time, but not again. Child’s Play is a charity that sends donated toys, video games, and movies to hospitalized children all over the world. These kids are often patients with terminal illnesses, so any kind of break from that reality is undoubtedly welcome for them.

If you’d like to watch the stream, here’s the link for that. If you’d like to donate, you can do so over at the Ragequit.tv website; there’s a side-bar on the right with a “Chip in!” button, which is where you go to donate to Child’s Play.

If you’d like to donate to Child’s Play directly, you can do so at the Child’s Play Charity website. The event ends on August 22nd.
