Microsoft announced at its CES keynote last night that Hulu Plus will be making its way onto Xbox Live later this spring, complete with Kinect support and all. In addition to Hulu Plus launching with Kinect support, Microsoft also announced that Netflix will receive Kinect support as well, and is expected to launch at once with Hulu Plus.
In other Kinect-related news, Microsoft also announced “Avatar Kinect”, a virtual chat service that utilizes, you guessed it, your avatar. Available to all Xbox Live Gold members for free this spring, you’ll be able to communicate with your friends using your voice and your Kinect, all without the potential shame of being spotted in your birthday suit. Kinect will reportedly be able to track not only the movements of your body, but your facial expressions as well.
