LucasArts announced today that Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars, based off the hit animated series, will be releasing on — ahem — DS, Wii, PlayStation 3, PSP, Xbox 360 and PC beginning February 15 in North America, February 18 in the UK.
Beyond taking place in a whole new story arc in the Star Wars universe, Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars adds a number of new features, including large-scale ground battles that will play out similarly to a real-time strategy game, new boss battles, and the “SceneSwap” feature, which allows you to shift between teams at different locations on the battlefield to complete various objectives.
Maybe this’ll be the thing that finally gets me to watch The Clone Wars. Maybe.
