It seems that PlayStation 3 and PC users planning to grab Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light on September 28 will suffer the same fate as their Xbox 360 brethren, as the game will be releasing without online co-op.
While online co-op is still planned to be released for the Xbox 360 sometime later this month (via vg247), Crystal Dynamics stated in a press release that the PS3 and PC versions won’t be getting it until a “later date”.
It’s unfortunate that the game is going to be launching yet again without one of its strongest selling points, but the game is still hard not to recommend — it’s still a great game. Besides, it’ll only set you back $14.99 on Steam and PlayStation Network. I’m sure you spend that kind of money on worse things all the time. I know I do.
