Halo: Reach’s first map pack coming next month

If you found that Halo: Reach‘s selection of multiplayer maps at launch didn’t quite do it for you, you may be happy to know that Bungie has announced that a decidedly prompt new map pack for Halo: Reach is due out next month, dubbed the Noble Map Pack.

The map pack is due out on November 30 and will set you back the usual 800 Microsoft Points. Noble Map Pack will include three brand spanking new multiplayer maps for you to kill your enemies and friends alike on.

The first of which is Tempest, an 8-16 player map set on an abandoned Forerunner shoreline facility. The symmetrical map is open to the Free For All, Team Slayer, Team Objective and Big Team Battle modes.

Next up is Anchor 9, an orbital docking station best suited for smaller teams of 2-8. Spartans can expect duke it out on the docking station in the Free For All, Team Slayer and Team Objective modes.

And finally there is Breakpoint, the obligatory giant ice map set on an ONI archaeological base. The map’s mammoth size doesn’t cater well to small-scale skirmishes, and as such only supports the Big Team Battle and Invasion modes.

If you’d like to get a good look at the new selection of “Noble” maps, go ahead and check out the debut screenshots below.
