Fallout 3 launched with three timed exclusive packs of DLC for the Xbox 360, and it looks that will be repeated once again for at least one of Fallout: New Vegas‘ DLC releases.
In a press release issued just this morning, Bethesda VP of Marketing and PR Pete Hines stated, “We’re excited to continue the partnership between Bethesda and Microsoft, and build on the success of the game add-ons released for Fallout 3 on Xbox LIVE,”
Bethesda isn’t willing to share the details on just what the first DLC for Fallout: New Vegas will be just yet, but the press release does goes on to say that we should expect this news “in the coming weeks”.
This news may be a bummer to all of you planning to pick up Fallout: New Vegas on their PS3 (or PC for that matter), but do keep in mind that this is likely only a timed exclusive and, as of right now, this is the only piece of DLC currently announced to be exclusive to the Xbox 360. See? It’s not all bad!
