Age of Empires Online, Microsoft Flight announced

Age of Empires Online

News from Microsoft at gamescom was the reveal of two new games: Age of Empires Online, a Games for Windows-exclusive title currently in closed beta stages, and Microsoft Flight, the next addition to the Flight Simulator series.

Age of Empires Online takes place in a persistent world where you quest either with your friends, or against them. You start off as the Greek civilization at the beginning, and can expand into an empire as you progress. More info, including video, at the official site.

Microsoft Flight may be the next game in a fairly long series of games, but Microsoft promises to bring you a “new perspective” in Microsoft Flight. There’s a teaser for that up on the game’s official site if you care to see that.

Never was all that interested in the Flight Simulator series, but I am pretty interested in Age of Empires Online. You can sign up for the beta (currently in closed beta) at the site, so go to the official site (linked above) if you want in.
